To ensure your account receives the highest quality service, Compass uses a multiple-tiered account oversight process.  As a client, you are assigned a senior-level consultant and an account manager to personally work with your company on a day-to-day basis. Their recommendations are reviewed by two executive managers, assuring you of solutions that are creative and customized, as well as cost-efficient.

Carrier Evaluations and Renewals

In addition to our day-to-day services, Compass Consulting Group will release a Request for Proposal to the marketplace in order to review all your vendor options now and at renewal. Evaluating, negotiating with, and recommending insurers and providers are our specialties.

We have established long-standing relationships with major carriers, which allow us to negotiate aggressively and obtain cost-efficient proposals for you. Critical Vendor Selection Criteria

We’ve established rigorous selection criteria for potential vendors, and recommend a selection based on the following considerations:

  • Experience in administering network-based programs
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement processes
  • Experience in administering multiple option health programs
  • Quality of communication materials (booklets, EOBs, etc.)
  • Effective administration procedures (coordination of benefits, subrogation, etc.)
  • Responsiveness of group representative
  • Cost efficiency
  • Responsiveness to client feedback
  • Professionalism of response to RFP
  • Willingness to adapt to changing needs and circumstances
  • Adequate staffing ratios
  • Superior network coverage in relation to location of employees

As we negotiate with vendors, we’ll also examine your loss history, establish the necessary types of coverage consistent with your risk tolerance, and choose carriers that provide superior services for your specific needs.
